Desktop Bridge, previously known as a Project Centennial, is a technology which helps to bring existing desktop applications to the Universal Windows Platform. It allows to manually create an .appx package or use an existing installer and convert it in the .appx. It allows to integrate parts of the UWP in the desktop application and facilitates a gradual move from the classic desktop application to a UWP app.
