Topic: Automatically move files

Love this software, and have been looking for something like this for a long time.

The main improvement that I can suggest is purely based on my personal method of file management.

I receive a lot of files every day from various sources for various projects. They overwhelm my ability to store them in a useful fashion, and any directory structure that I have created has been enormous and ridiculous. Tagging is a much better option.

The idea now is that there will be no directory structure at all - just one single directory. The files will be searchable by through the TaggedFrog software.

So the process now is:

Receive file (in email, for example)
Save file to "Storage directory"
Find file in storage directory (and this directory has hundreds of files!)
Drag to TaggedFrog
Tag

What would be great is:

Receive File
Drag into TaggedFrog desktop widget/GUI (or right-click send to TaggedFrog)
Tag
and then TaggedFrog would automatically move the file to my data directory.

This would be much simpler!

Any thoughts?

I am planning to add additional fields to the tagging dialog to allow move the files during the tagging.

Thank you for the recent updates - I just downloaded 1.02, and have tried out the move feature.

This is very good, but would it be possible to have a default location for the move?

Once my files are tagged I dump them all in a single directory (who needs subdirectories if all files are tagged?) but I do not want to have to browse to that same directory every time I tag-move a file.

Okay, I will save the last used path smile I think it will be the best solution.
