Topic: Invalid Library Format

Hi - I've been using taggedfrog for over a year - great program. I now have a problem. When I try to start the program, I get the message "invalid library format." I am unable to use the program. Any advice?

If I reinstall taggedfrog, do I lose my tags?

Re: Invalid Library Format

Please find the folder where TaggedFrog database is located (usually <system drive>\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LunarFrog\TaggedFrog\1.0\).

You should see files named Tags.wft – your current database, and Tags.~wft – backup database. Renaming Tags.~wft into Tags.wft should solve your problem.

I can't remain the file because it has the same name as the other file. Was I to override the existing file with that name? I instead just moved the file Tags.~wft temporarily to another directory but this did not solve the problem.

Re: Invalid Library Format

Let's try step-by-step:

1) Return back Tags.~wft
2) Move out Tags.wft to a temporary folder
3) Rename Tags.~wft to Tags.wft

It should restore all your information

Thanks. That did it. Regards.
