Topic: Windows 7 64-bit

Running 1.0.2 on window 7 64-bit 7100.  Things work great except the shell extension doesn't seem to work.  When I right click on a file there is no option to tag.  I then installed 1.0.3 over the top and still no shell extension.  Any ideas, thanks?

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Could you please try to register the extension manually?

Please go to TaggedFrog installation folder and execute in the command line the following instruction:

regsvr32 TFShellMenu.dll

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

I did as requested and I receive a message box saying "DLLRegisterServer in TFShellMenu.dll succeeded, but still no option in right click menu.  I have done some reading and I think it may be a 64-bit issue.  Explorer runs 64-bit and will only load a 64-bit compiled extension.  I don't suppose you can create one?

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Hi Andrei - would still love to see that 64-bit extension!

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Same problem here. hmm

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

I will try to get access to x64 system to try to resolve all the 64bit issues at once.

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

same problem with me too--thanks!

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Hi Andrei,

Still out here if you are wondering if anyone would enjoy/benefit from the 64-bit work.

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Yes, I am working on it and my plan is to solve x64-bit related issues in the next release (this month), some of them already fixed.

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Any word on this? Very anxious to use it again...

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

I am waiting the last translation to release this build...

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

Hi Andrei,

I got excited for 1.1, looks sharp, but it looks like there is still no shell extension support for 64-bit?  Checking so see if I just need to tweak something, thanks.

Re: Windows 7 64-bit

64bit installer includes Windows extension as well. Do you have any problem using it?

whoops, I installed the 32-bit.  After selecting the right package for 64-bit things work beautifully, thank you!
